Seasonal bell ringers are an integral part of The Salvation Army meeting our campaign goal. Silent bells/kettles without bell ringers historically make 80-95% less than if the kettle is manned by an energetic and friendly ringer.
Why should you be a Salvation Army bell ringer?
- Donations placed in our red kettles impact the community in which they are located. Not only is the money raised used for seasonal care such as Christmas food and gift baskets, it also helps provide other services such as emergency shelter, food for families and individuals, and financial assistance.
- It’s a great way to earn extra money.
Bell ringing begins November 8 in Quincy, IL and November 9 in Hannibal, MO.
