This is a part-time position with a standard Monday thru Wednesday work schedule working 1:30pm to 10pm. Additional work shifts may be available to cover vacations or holidays if desired. This position is eligible for some benefits such as holidays, vacation, sick as well as pension and life insurance.
The custodian will be responsible for the cleaning, sanitation and general upkeep of the buildings and grounds. The position will have primary responsibility for the set-ups and take-downs of furniture and equipment staging needed for the various programs and building uses.
This position is a temporary, summer position and is an excellent opportunity for students. Must be over the age of 18.
Under the supervision of the Day Camp Coordinator and the Youth Development and Outreach Specialist, the Day Camp Counselor is responsible for providing a day camp program consistent with the needs and interests of the community. Counselors work with youth of various ages and must have the ability and desire to work with children, parents, volunteers, and peers. Counselors supervise and lead activities for all day camp events. Counselors ensure camper safety and well being of campers while they are in our care.
This position is a part-time position working approximately 10 to 19 hours a week with a variety of christian-based youth programs.
Under the supervision of the Youth Development & Outreach Specialist, this is a Ministry position responsible for connecting, leading and developing the youth in the various programs and activities including summer camps, after school programs, the game room, and special events at the Kroc Corps Community Center. The Youth Development Assistant is to be the face of the Kroc Center to the youth of the community and to the parents of the youth. The Youth Development Assistant will be a trustworthy conduit through which parents and youth can connect to the center.
This is a part-time Personal Trainer position. The successful Personal Trainer will become benefit-eligible once their client base meets or exceeds 20 client sessions on a weekly basis.
The Personal Trainer is be responsible for conducting one-on-one, group, and class-size fitness training instruction to clients, while providing a safe environment at the RJKCCC in Quincy, IL. This position will monitor all users in the sessions they conduct, perform fitness assessments, provide fitness equipment orientations, keep records, check receipts, assist patrons, and operate and set up equipment as needed.
The Store Worker/Truck Helper position is a full-time position with a generous benefits package including health/dental/vision/hearing/life insurance as well as vacaton, sick, holiday and personal time off benefits. The work schedule requires Saturday (every other) as well as some holidays.
Under the direct supervision of the Family Store Manager, the Truck Helper assists in loading and unloading clothing, furniture and miscellaneous items from The Salvation Army truck. This position will also assist in the store working with customers, lifting and carrying donated/purchased items and performing baling operations. The majority of the work done in the position will be of the physical labor type.

The Lifeguard staff will be responsible for knowing and enforcing all aquatic center policies and procedures, while providing a safe aquatic environment at the RJKCCC in Quincy, IL. This position will monitor all users in the aquatic areas, assist patrons, assist with cleaning the aquatic facilities, and operate and set up equipment as needed.
This is a part-time position with our Quincy Family Store working approximately 24 hours a week and is also eligible for paid holidays, sick and vacation. This position is normally scheduled three 8-hour shifts and regularly works Saturdays.
This position is expected to perform all functions of the Donation Center Clerk. This includes but is not limited to: Providing excellent customer service; receiving donations, assisting with unloading Family Store truck; lifting and carrying donated/purchased items; sorting donations; cleaning or repairing items; preparing items for the sales floor including pricing items. The majority of the work performed in the position will be of a physical labor type. Basic communication and math skills are required.
This position is a part-time position. Regular Saturdays is required.
