Join us in making a difference.      POSITION TITLE:             Camp Director    LOCATION:                      Wonderland Camp   REPORTS TO:                  Camp Administrator   FLSA CATEGORY:             Exempt   STATUS TYPE:                 Full-Time   MISSION The Salvation Army Wonderland Camp and Conference Center exists to support the ministry of the Salvation Army by providing the opportunity to experience Christ through focused programs in a natural, safe, camp conference environment.   OUTCOMES In conjunction with Camp Administrator s strategic plan is developed and implemented that addresses programming, facility needs, staffing and financial stability for both the short-term and long-term effectiveness of the camp in order to provide an atmosphere that positively influence people in making decisions for Christ and in developing spiritual maturity, vision, commitment and ministry.    In conjunction with the DYS’s a strategy is developed and implemented to address the programming needs of the camp.  As a result current programs are planned and communicated with adequate time for effective implementation and management.  New programs are also investigated and implemented that enhance the overall ministry of the facility.    Oversee Facilities, Food Service, Program Departments, Assistant Director and their direct reports.

The Music Instructor works directly with the Performance & Visual Arts Manager and Arts & Education Director in developing course syllabi and class teaching consistent with the mission of The Salvation Army.
