  • Overview

    The Janitor will keep the Corps Building clean and organized.

    Responsibilities

    Clean all bathrooms daily and as needed.

    Remove trash on a daily basis.

    Vacuum Large areas on a weekly basis or more as needed.

    Vacuum and clean classrooms on a weekly basis.

    Vacuum waiting room and offices on a daily basis.

    Clean front entry way.

    Shovel front walk as needed and apply de-ice products.

    Sweep and mop kitchen floor on a weekly basis.

    Sweep and mop the activity room after use.

    Mop bathrooms twice a week.

    Mow grounds as needed.

    Vacuum Chapel weekly or as needed.

    Dust furniture throughout the building weekly.

    Vacuum pews monthly or more as needed.

    Clean vans once a month.

    Clean kitchen once a week.

    Sweep and Mop pantry once a week.

    Greet all donors in a kind and courteous manner.

    Keep donation area in a clean and orderly manner.

    Help donors bring in donations.

    Pick up larger food orders/donations on occasion in Corps vehicle.

    Other Duties as Assigned.

     

    Qualifications

    Education:  High School Diploma/GED required. 

     

    Experience:  Some experience in janitorial work a plus.
