This is a seasonal position working approximately 30 hours per week.
Receive daily bell ring schedule from kettle coordinator or assistant.
Make sure to be briefed on any new procedure or problem before departing for route.
Keep kettle coordinator informed of any problems on route.
Mark starting and ending times of all bell ringers legibly.
Confidentiality—Do no discuss any problems with employees or disciplinary measures taken with anyone other than the coordinator.
Make sure that no one smokes, eats or drinks in the vans.
Make sure that your van is cleaned at the end of your shift and filled with gas, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Check on bell ringers as often as possible.
Make sure the buckets with money are kept safe and secure at all times.
Make sure you are well groomed according to the standards of the bellringer job description.
Driver must have a chauffer’s license endorsement.
Driver must be approved to drive Salvation Army vehicles through the MVR process.
