    Responsibilities

    The School-Age Children’s Program Coordinator is responsible for oversight of school-age children’s programs, related staff/volunteers, and working with the Community Center Ministries Director to develop and improve programs.

    Qualifications

    • Associate’s degree in any major with 12 semester hours in child care or child development, 2 semester hours or 3 CEU’s in Child Care Administration, plus 480 hours of experience.
    • Must be at least 21 years of age.
    • Demonstrated experience in developing programs and program components is strongly preferred.
    • Must have excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
    • Requires Chauffeur’s license and DOT Medical Certificate for driving duties.
    • Must have knowledge of general office practices and procedures, able to keep accurate records, filing and abide by confidentiality requirements.
    • Must work both independently and as a team player.
    • Understand and adhere to professional ethics and boundaries
    • Demonstrate culturally competent practices in all communications
    • Actively promote a racism-free environment
