    If you have a creative mind with graphic design and are looking for a part-time position over the holidays, then this opportunity is for you!


    1. Prepare copy and layout for flyers, brochures, newsletters, advertising and other media that is effective, culturally appropriate and tasteful.
    2. Work closely with key staff to create promotional and operational materials for all departments.  Appropriate materials should have the same look and feel, and be in keeping with the mission of The Salvation Army. The Kroc Executive Committee will have final approval of materials prior to publication and consumption.
    3. Produce signs, forms, cards and related materials for all the departments of Kroc Community Center.
    4. Design print advertising.
    5. Support other forms of social media including Facebook, Twitter, e-newsletters, etc.
    6. Be a design resource and support for all areas of Kroc Community Church.
    7. Provide support for volunteers’ marketing needs.



    1. High school diploma or GED equivalency.
    2. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in graphic design, art communication or related field.
    3. Minimum of two years’ experience working in the fields of advertisings, journalism and/or publishing, developing and designing target marketing and communication collateral, and multi-media education and support.
    4. Must understand current design, typography and photography trends.
    5. Must be highly creative and thrive in a team setting.
