    Summary/Primary Purpose: Direct service provider to persons involved in human trafficking – either labor or sex trafficking. Will provide intake, case management, outreach, training and related record collection and data entry. Protect confidentiality of service recipients and program information.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Engage a broad array of service providers, conduct and provide identified service recipients with comprehensive care.
    2. Document and review service recipient’s case files.
    3. Provide crisis and supportive intervention, rotating 24 hour on call response to victim referrals.
    4. Refer and assist service recipients to receive appropriate resources.
    5. Collaborate with law enforcement, correctional, and judicial systems and other victim service providers.
    6. Provide planning and casework related to discharge and aftercare.
    7. Provide transportation as needed.
    8. Travel throughout the assigned service area as needed.
    9. Attend and participate in appropriate Salvation Army management, clinical, and training meetings.
    10. Compile monthly statistics.
    11. Participate in performance and quality improvement program.
    12. Attend multi-disciplinary interagency meetings.
    13. Track performance measures utilizing TIMS.
    14. Other duties as assigned.


    Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.


    Education and/or Experience:  Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field from a four-year college or university and one to two years related experience is preferred. Experience working with victims of trafficking is preferred, and may substitute for a college degree. Previous training/experience in trauma informed/sensitive care very helpful.



    Qualifications:  The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position.

    1. Ability to be flexible, prioritize and work on multiple projects or tasks simultaneously.
    2. Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills, and the ability to access data systems via a web-based system.
    3. Administrative skills to include utilization of standard office equipment, data entry, 10-key, attention to details and filing.
    4. Good communication skills both written and spoken, and ability to maintain effective working relationships.
    5. Mathematical skills to include add, subtract, multiply, divide, use of common fractions and decimals.
    6. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters.
    7. Attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
    8. Strong independent judgement.
    9. Bi-lingual in Spanish is preferred.


    Other Qualifications: Must pass all applicable background checks. Must possess a valid driver's license from the state in which you reside. Must be approved through The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Program to drive either a Salvation Army or personal vehicle on Salvation Army business.


    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: CPR certification or attain same within 90 days of employment.
