  • Overview

    The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking a full-time Intake Representative/Residential Monitor.  Our 40-bed women’s addiction recovery residential facility on Chicago’s north side provides housing, work, and group/individual counseling, all in a clean, wholesome environment. The physical and spiritual care that program participants receive prepares them to re-enter society and return to gainful employment.


    Candidates for this position should have a least one year of experience in a social services setting.  College coursework in a related field and/or a CADC (Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Counselor certification) is preferred. Basic computer skills are required.


    Primary duties include:


    • Conduct screening interviews and administratively process incoming participants
    • Maintaining program participant files
    • In-house resident monitoring
    • Maintain ongoing contact with current and prospective referral services
    • Networking/outreach, both on-site and in the field
    • Other duties as assigned by the Rehabilitation Services Manager


    Starting pay is $11.97 per hour.  The schedule will be Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.


    Paid sick time, paid vacation time, and paid discretionary time are included.
