    This position will ensure the accurate accounting of the General Fund and Operating Fund information in accordance with GAAP and The Salvation Army policies and  procedures:


    • Oversee all activity related to Territorial Headquarters (THQ) General Fund and Operating sections.
    • Review all year-end audit schedules for General Fund and Operating sections; assist with consolidated audit.
    • Primary liaison with divisions regarding operating issues.
    • Review THQ bank reconciliations.
    • Oversee and review all other General Ledger Account reconciliations for General Fund and Operating Fund.
    • Review monthly receivables report and monthly management report.
    • Prepare THQ budget file for review.
    • Prepare other THQ budgets for special projects, special activities and professional fees.
    • Coordinate release of THQ financial information to departments.
    • Constant review of the THQ ledger.
    • Resolution of issues/conflicts with divisions and departments.
    • Create Accounting/Financial reports using FRX and Crystal Reporting.
    • Initiate wire transfers.
    • Coordinate the ECH/EFT transfer process.
    • Back-up Controller on specific Accounting matters.




    Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field




    CPA preferred




    5 years experience required
