  • Overview

    The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is accepting applications for a full time Resident Manager for an all male facility

    Responsibilities

    Duties would include:

     

    Enforcement of house rules and overall security of center during evening and early morning hours

     

    Crisis intervention counseling with beneficiaries as needed

     

    Implementing and supervising leisure time activities both in the center and without (i.e. athletic events, etc.)

     

    Conducting bed checks at appropriate times

     

    Reporting and documenting violations of the centers policies to Administration and appropriate department heads each morning and completing daily reports which include beneficiaries admitted, terminated and unusual or otherwise noteworthy after hour incidents

    Education and/or Experience:

     

    High school graduate or equivalent, current drivers license, related experience

     

     

     

    Language Skills:

     

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as saftey rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to communicate verbally with clients and administrative staff

     

     

     

    Reasoning Ability:

     

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral and schedule form

     

     

     

    Clerical/Mathematics Skills:

     

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.  Ability to do computer word processing
