    Organize and oversight of day to day operations of Summer Day Camp Program. 

    Responsibilities

    • Plan Summer Day Camp Program. 
      • Field Trips 
      • Activities 
      • Transportation
      • Meals & Snacks
    • Supervise and work with day camp counselors and volunteers. 

    Other responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned and appropriate for this position.

     

    Material and Equipment: Recreation Equipment as required as well as basic office equipment and computer as needed. 

    Qualifications

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required / Preferred: 

    • Youth programming skills required. 
    • Good communication and organizational skills required. 
    • Good computer skills and knowledgeable in Microsoft Word and Excel required. 
    • Must obtain "Safe from Harm Training Certificate" within six months of hire. 
    • Valid Driver's license with clean driving record required. 

    Education and Experience Required / Preferred: 

    • Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalent required. 
    • Minimum of one year experience working with youth programming preferred. 

    Licenses and Certifications:

    • Basic First Aid and CPR required.

    The job is usually performed in an indoor environment, but occasionally it is performed in an outdoors environment. The noise level is usually moderate, but occasionally it is moderate or loud as the camp is for children.
