The Salvation Army Children's Learning Center is located in Menasha, close to Appleton, Hwy 441, Hwy 10 and Hwy 41. The center was opened in 2005 and completely remodeled in 2009. The center is Christian based. We are State Licensed and a Five Star with YoungStar. We are licensed for 144 and during the school year we average 90 children enrolled. The summer months we add 40 children for our school age summer program. The center has 7 rooms: 6 weeks to 8 months, 8 months to 1 year, 1 year, young 2s, 2 1/2 years, 3 years, and 4 and 5 years. We have two teachers in each room and floaters to cover vacations, breaks and sick time. The center is opened Monday through Friday 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
We offer a competitive wage based on experience and education. Incentive raises are based on furthering through college education, trainings and seminars. Our lead teachers must be a Level 8 on the Registry.

The Teacher should be a team member with the Directors and Staff in working toward the overall mission, philosophy, and objectives of the Salvation Army.
Supervision of Others:
Getting down to children's level regularly, some lifting of children and play equipment (up to 40 lbs. with or without accommodation), sitting on floor with children, taking children outdoors for play and walks, occasional field trups outside of the center, and evacuation drills.
