    The intake receptionist begins the intake process for clients of the Family Services Department. With guidance from the Social Services Director, this position will use a team approach for the distribution and coordination of services.


    Key Responsibilities:


    Assist in the intake paperwork process.

    Answer the Family Services phone lines and address callers needs while abiding by social service guidelines.

    Greet clients at the Family Services reception area and assist them with intake paperwork specific to the program in which they are applying.

    Assist in the tasks necessary to the daily operation of the Social Service office.


    A minimum of a High School Diploma or General Education Certificate (GED) from a certified institution.

    Receptionist experience in a social services agency preferred.

    Computer Skills necessary. Must be able to learn SIMS, Lotus Notes, MS Word and MS Excel.
