We are currently looking to fill morning shifts in our fitness center with shift start times ranging from 5 a.m. - 8 a.m. and concluding at noon. SUMMARY/PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The Fitness Attendant will be responsible for providing customer service to members and guests as they use the fitness area in the Kroc community center in Green Bay. The Fitness Attendant will be primarily responsible for ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and dedicated customer service of the fitness area.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively ensure a safe recreation environment for all Kroc Center staff, volunteers, members and participants.
  •  
  • Project a friendly, customer-service oriented attitude.
  •  
  • Be visible on the fitness floor and interact with members and guests.
  •  
  • Answer basic fitness and facility-related questions and provide assistance to members and guests as necessary.
  •    
  • Ensure the attractive appearance, operational function, and general upkeep of the fitness facilities including equipment and furnishings.
  •  
  • Participate in designated staff training and professional development courses.

Qualifications

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience working with youth and adults in a sports and/or recreation setting.

    • Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
