Direct all aspects of the Adult Rehabilitation Centers beneficiary management systems, on line classes, and other systems and programs overseen by the Program and Missions Integration Department, including administration and further development of existing programs as well as implementation of new programs. Provide guidance to Center staff for the resolution of inquiries and compliance with Salvation Army ARC Policies and Procedures.


Responsible for and serving as point person for all existing Beneficiary Management Systems, Databases, and processes used by the Program and Missions Integration Department.


Provide systematic oversight for ARC Program and Missions Integration Department Contracts Database.


Identify, review, present, and implement new programs, online training, or other management systems for Centers that will enhance the life and educational experiences of beneficiaries and Center staff.


Conduct audits and reviews of electronic Beneficiary files as a function of the Annual Center Review Process as well as ongoing intermittent reviews.


Create and Conduct Training/ Onboarding Processes for all systems relating to the Program and Mission Integration Department.


As Program Specialist - Responsible for disseminating knowledge and information regarding The Salvation Army and the Adult Rehabilitation Center program, policies, protocols and procedures to Administrators and Center staffs by: 

Prepare and submit items to the Command Finance Board meetings on behalf of the Program and Missions Integration Department.

  1. Baccalaureate Degree or a minimum of five years of experience in social work, counseling, addictions, or similar human services field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Minimum of two years of experience in administering client management systems that support social services programs (experience in ServicePoint/SIMS a plus).
  3. Demonstrated capacity in building client tracking systems, producing reports, and training.
  4. Ability to compute and analyze statistical and financial systems and reports.
  5. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to speak and understand English in a manner that is sufficient for effective communication with supervisors, employees, beneficiaries and customers based on the assumption that such individuals can only speak and understand English.
  6. Demonstrated ability to make and execute decisions regarding program.
  7. Demonstrated ability to train adults in a group setting.
  8. Demonstrated ability to use good judgment in decision making and formulating action plans for proactive resolutions when deemed necessary.
  9. Demonstrated ability to delegate and supervise others to accomplish goals and tasks within the incumbent’s area of responsibility.
  10. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  11. Social Services experience and solid understanding of agency and provider service objectives.
