In keeping with the mission of The Salvation Army, The Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in Green Bay provides facilities, programs and services that strengthen, encourage and enrich children, adults, and seniors through positive life-changing experiences.



The Membership Services Representative’s primary responsibilities are the execution of the day to day operations and workflow of the Welcome Desk. This individual must be knowledgeable on facility programs, able to communicate that knowledge effectively, and be able to complete the necessary paperwork associated with the program.  It is essential the Membership Services Representative is able to multi-task in a fast pace environment and be adaptable to an ever-changing atmosphere.


  1. Must become thoroughly knowledgeable on facility programs and services, able to communicate that knowledge effectively and able to complete all necessary paperwork associated with the programs and The Membership Services Desk.


  1. Ensure all requests are met and tasks completed in a professional, timely, seamless and confidential manner.
  2. Direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate department. Report problems/issues to appropriate departmental supervisors as necessary.


  1. Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all aspects of support.


  1. Provide excellent customer service to external and internal customers.


  1. Assist in emergencies or treatment of injured children, members and guests. Complete appropriate incident report forms as directed.


  1. Assist in providing direction to members and guests in moving about the facility to avoid crowded conditions and maximize service efficiency.


  1. Responsible for the accurate and consistent collection of all revenue. Ensures revenues are handled according to policies and procedures.


  1. Follow and ensure adherence to Kroc Center Policies and Procedures.


  1. Handles communication matters with customers in person, over the phone or electronically.


  1. Be available to work weeknights, weekends and holidays. Flexibility is required in availability.


  1. Interact professionally with the public, business community, Salvation Army Officers and Kroc Center Staff.


  1. Collect user fees, sell daily admissions, gift cards, issue guest passes. Operate computer and software system including class searches. Confirm printed receipts and membership ID cards.


  1. Cross-trained in policies and procedures regarding Memberships and Scholarships, providing this support when needed.


  1. Responsible for ensuring Welcome Desk is stocked with up-to-date program brochures and general facility information.
  2. While touring the facility, enforce center rules and regulations. Report any problems/concerns to Membership Services Supervisor.



  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of one year customer service experience, including cash-handling.

- OR -

  • Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.


LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS: First Aid, CPR and AED Certification to be obtained within 60 days of hire.

  • Ability to interact with co-workers and the public in a positive, professional manner.
  • Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds and circumstances. 
  • Ability to work in a team setting with other professionals. 
  • Exercise good judgment in personal actions.
  • Strong computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office products, e-mail, and Internet.
