Overview

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a healthy team atmosphere with existing staff
• Work to develop and maintain a positive customer service oriented image with all end users and departments throughout the Division
• Ability to meet deadlines while managing several concurrent projects
• Assist end users throughout the division with IT related challenges
• Travel throughout the division to assist with (~1 to 2 days per week. Fleet vehicles available to approved drivers):
• Troubleshooting Hardware, software, and peripherals
• Infrastructure evaluation
• Hardware and software deployment
• Security system connectivity
• Basic networking
• Basic Active Directory support (User setup/domain membership/profile migration/etc.)
• Backup and recovery solutions
• Training
• Expand knowledge of existing systems to provide well rounded support
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education: Associates degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Technical certification is a plus (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)

 

Experience: 1+ years’ experience in current network environment and end user support
Basic active directory administration
Basic file and folder security
Troubleshooting experience in:
• Email (Lotus Notes preferred)
• Hardware, Software, Peripherals
• Switches/Routers
• Wifi Connectivity

 

Physical Demands/Work Environment: This position requires light to moderate physical work. Successful performance of the essential functions of this position require the individual to regularly remain stationary for periods of time, use hands and fingers, communicate, move. Additional requirements are to position self to stoop, kneel, crouch and frequently reach with and use arms and hands as required in using/maintaining/repairing standard equipment, PC’s and servers. The work environment for this position includes an office environment with low noise level but also Corps locations with medium to moderate noise. Applicant will need to pass a background check and a motor vehicle background check as driving is a requirement of the position.
