Assists the Accounting Supervisor in obtaining financial data for use in maintaining accounting records.

Education and/or Experience
Minimum - High school graduate with training in bookkeeping and at least six months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, invoices, operating instructions, etc. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate with individual beneficiaries, employees, and vendors. Must possess good email etiquette.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, and percentages with accuracy. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger or handle.
