The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for all building upkeep including cleanliness and repair. Will coordinate set-up of events, property bids and contracts and vehicle maintenance. Other duties as assigned.



Key Responsibilities:


Building and Grounds maintenance, custodial and housekeeping of Fulton Heights Corps, including maintaining related equipment. 

Assigned Maintenance of Officer’s quarters.

Other duties as assigned.


Demonstrated skills in building maintenance including knowledge and ability to perform routine facilities maintenance in carpentry/framing, roofing, plumbing, water/air/hydraulic systems, heating and cooling, grounds maintenance and repair/maintenance of related equipment and vehicles.

Experience with sanitation, cleaning and property care.

Have a substantial knowledge and understanding of general maintenance.

Valid driver’s license; acceptable driving and criminal history records

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Must be self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision and direction.

Ability to pay attention to details, and accomplish goals and objectives on a daily basis.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

A positive attitude and the ability to be flexible in light of changing job situations/priorities.
