  • Overview

    Coordinate, Manage and supervise the Madison Wis. Salvation Army Food Pantry

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain adequate client documentation and paperwork required
    • Maintain statistical records as required
    • Be familiar with current community resources and make appropriate referrals
    • Be responsible for stocking the food pantry on a regular basis, including food pickups when necessary
    • Participate in agency training for staff development
    • Supervises volunteers assigned to the Food Pantry
    • Participate in seasonal activities as assigned by the Darbo Program Director
    • Other duties as assigned
    • Maintain positive working relationships with clients, fellow employee, volunteers, donors, and experienced work workers

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • High School Diploma or GED

     

    Certifications:

    • Valid driver's license with approval to drive from TSA insurance carrier

     

    Skills/Abilities:

    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Basic computer skills
    • Must be able to lift 100 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
    • Act in a manner consistent with The Mission Statement of The Salvation Army
