Job Summary: Regular, Part-Time, Non-Exempt


  1. The Hospitality Coordinator will provide support to the Hospitality Manager for oversight of the daily operations of the Hospitality Department.. The Hospitality Coordinator will be responsible for Marketing the RJKCCC under the direction of the Hospitality Manger. The Hospitality Coordinator will assist in developing, implementing and training all Event Hosts. Additional responsibilities include assisting with facility tours, monitoring special events and facility rental activities to ensure the clients; needs are met prior to and on the day of the event in RJKCCC. This position is a key member of the Kroc Center team and serves under the direction of the Hospitality Manager.
  2. The Hospitality Coordinator must have excellent inter-personal skills and a passion for people    and problem-solving. This key position requires the person to be levelheaded and able to work under pressure.


Key Areas of Responsibility:


  1. Assist in management of daily operations of the Hospitality/Event Sales; assumes supervisory role in absence of the Hospitality Manager.
  2. Hospitality Coordinator must be able to work effectively under pressure and be willing to work with tight deadlines.
  3. Hospitality Coordinator will be responsible for developing relationships within the Community to increase revenue for the Center and develop presentations that outline the benefits/advantages of hosting an event at the Kroc Center along with pricing for prospective clients.
  4. Assist in developing and training programs for all Event Hosts to increase the level of service.
  5. Hospitality Coordinator must be flexible and capable of multi-tasking.
  6. Hospitality Coordinator must ensure that our attention to detail is what distinguishes the Kroc experience.
  7. Hospitality Coordinator ensures that each team member delivers the world-class experience that the Kroc Center is known for and which attracts future events. Assist in development and implementation of all Event Sales processes and procedures.
  8. Provide world class customer service to the community; see that all attendees are given prompt and courteous service
  9. Assist in executing sales programs
  10. Assist in room reservations.
  11. Keep current on all events that you will be hosting
  12. Work cooperatively with any Directors, Managers, Staff and on site/off-site Vendors
  13. Communicate any and all aspects of the event to the Hospitality Manger
  14. Ensure the facility is clean and secure at the end of the event
  15. Room preparation
  16. Guest relations
  17. Itinerary management


Specific Functions


  1. Creating and hosting promotional marketing presentations for prospective client while focusing on creating awareness of the features and benefits of the Kroc Center
  2. Work closely with Event Hosts and Event Leads supporting and ensuring each event exceeds our client’s expectations.
  3. With direction from the Hospitality Manager, develop and implement Event Lead and Host training to exceed client expectations
  4. Act as liaison between RJKCCC and our clients and guests, communicating times, dates, schedules and requests as needed and to the proper personnel.
  5. Work with internal and external staff and companies to ensure guest catering satisfaction.
  6. Ensure all event and facility details are reviewed prior to guest arrival for accuracy of the setup, and any special needs that were requested.
  7. Ensure place table settings and any required decorations prior to guest arriving for events where such a service is purchased.
  8. Assist the Hospitality Manager with facility tours to prospective clients and guests.
  9. Assist Facilities staff in setting up rooms for special events as needed.
  10. Supervise flow of all events, prior, during, and after the rental.
  11. Work to ensure guest satisfaction, notifying appropriate personnel about challenges and successes. Resolve any guest concerns in a prompt, professional manner.
  12. Setup and assist guests with basic audio/visual needs.
  13. Inventory and management of all equipment needed for each event.
  14. Assist Hospitality Manager in reconciling all costs, deposits, and fees associated to the event.
  15. Ensure that a pre-event check list and post-event check list is completed before and after each program, including cleanup, equipment inventory, equipment condition, damage deposit and evaluation forms.
  16. Maintain confidences and comply with Safe from Harm guidelines.
  17. Maintain positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that fosters good relationships with clients, co-workers, and supervisors. This includes, but is not limited to, such actions as resolution of conflicts in a professional manner; courteous treatment of staff, visitors, and clients, respect of others’ property and person; and professional and appropriate communication to and about clients, co-workers, and supervisors.




  1. Must have 5 years’ experience in Hospitality Industry
  2. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  3. Must have ability to work and relate well with people from a variety of backgrounds.
  4. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
  5. Must be able to adjust to requests of RJKCCC guests with little notice.
  6. Must be highly organized and pay great attention to detail.
  7. Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  8. Must be knowledgeable of the facility and available rental items.
