This position is part time - 2 days a week.
The Senior Programming Assistant will complete assignments related to the administrative support, development, implementation and management of senior program related activities.
Development of new programs- In collaboration with existing Kroc center fitness staff implement new health and fitness classes targeted for older adults. This will include teaching fitness and nutrition classes.
General Administration- Coordinating check-in at programs and keeping accurate counts of participation, assist with booking program space throughout the building, schedule field trips and maintain the master activity calendar
Have a working knowledge of Microsoft programs, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel as well as Lotus Notes
One-year experience working with senior adults preferred
Ability to conduct fitness and nutritional classes preferred.
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English. Ability to read, write and communicate in Spanish desired.
Must be able to obtain CDL
