The Administrative Assistant will complete assignments related to the administrative support, development, implementation and management of program and property related activities at the Grand Rapids Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center.
Provide administrative support for the General Manager.
Responsible for preparing letters, memos, and reports, maintaining files, performing clerical duties and preparing and reporting statistical data.
Responsible for maintaining department calendar information.
Assist in preparing budgets and other financial information.
Prepare agendas and take minutes as directed for meetings.
Serve as the lead software administrator for the Program Department.
Assist in developing and maintaining polies and operating standards.
Assist with hiring staff.
Bachelors Degree in a relevant field and 1+ years of related experience or equivalent combinations of education and experience which, in the sole determination of The Salvation Army, provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform this role, may be considered.
Have a working knowledge of Microsoft programs, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel as well as Lotus Notes.
Experience with recreation database software.
