The Membership Specialist is directly responsible for the development and execution of membership sales tactics that attract new members and employ methods to improve member retention.
Develop and execute membership sales tactics in order to meet monthly membership revenue goals including tours, presentations, special events, and expos.
Monitor and track monthly sales.
Execute an onboarding process for new members that improve membership retention including new member orientation and member satisfaction.
Set up and maintain CRM software as it relates to lead generation and membership sales.
Provide support to the membership department.
Assist at the Welcome Desk as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in related field (sales, communications, management, etc.) and a minimum of three years’ experience working in a sales industry meeting membership targets. Equivalent combinations of education and experience that, in the sole discretion of The Salvation Army, provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully in the position will be considered.
The ability to read, write and communicate in English and Spanish is preferred.
Proficient PC-based computer skills in the latest versions of MS Office, Lotus, CRM and or equivalent. Database experience a plus.
