POSITION TITLE: Mobile Outreach Lead Coordinator
LOCATION/DEPT: Mobile Outreach – Homeless Services
REPORTS TO: Program Director
FLSA CATEGORY: Non-Exempt
STATUS TYPE: Full-Time
To support the full mission of The Salvation Army by providing compassionate, professional service to individuals and families experiencing homelessness and seeking shelter services and other resources in a team-focused manner.
Mobile Outreach Lead Coordinator provides consistent stability and safety to the program through direct service to the clients. This individual works on multiple shifts and is responsible for the overall operation and supervision of staff during the shifts worked. This service includes professional interactions, distribution of basic supplies, communicating with donors, service providers and the community, and offering support to the Program Director and Mobile Outreach Manager. This individual is responsible for assisting the Program Director with the completion of designated monthly report to the funding sources. This includes assistance with written and oral communications and while maintaining confidentiality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position is required to do light physical work and must be able to walk up three flights of stairs at a time and lift up to 35lbs. Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds.
In order to successfully perform the essential functions of this position, the employee is regularly required to use standard office equipment and a PC.
