  • Overview

    The Fitness Manager will provide oversight for the daily operations of the Fitness Center. Responsibilities include safety, operations, programming, equipment management, and supervision of fitness attendants, fitness instructors, and personal trainers.



    Manage daily operations of the Fitness Center.

    Recruit, train and supervise all Fitness Center employees.

    Develop, implement and evaluate fitness programming.

    Oversee key safety components of the Fitness Center.

    Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Recreational Management, or other relevant field.

    2 + years experience in fitness setting with progressive levels of responsibility in developing, planning, managing, and supervising fitness facilities and programs; including developing and administering budgets, staff development and supervision, membership service, and community relations.

    Professional group fitness and/or personal training certifications required.

    Have a working knowledge of Microsoft programs, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

    Be able to read, write and communicate in English with the preferred ability to also communicate in Spanish.
