This is a part-time position working approximately 15-18 hours a week.
The Welcome Desk Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service experiences. Responsibilities include selling and/or verifying memberships through the Point of Sale (POS) system, providing information, and answering questions about available programs, and checking out equipment at either the Welcome Desk or the Control Desk.
1. Wait on customers, clients and members while complying with established procedures and provide great customer service to the RJKCCC community by ensuring that all customers, clients and members are given prompt and courteous service.
2. Promote the RJKCCC by giving tours and selling memberships. Promote/sell programs and special events, making insightful recommendations that reflect the needs and interests of members.
3. Receive and handle incoming telephone calls, visitors and emails in a friendly and businesslike manner; direct calls/inquiries to appropriate program/staff in a timely manner.
4. Maintain progressive knowledge of all programs, facilities and special events.
Education & Certifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalency.
At least one (1) year of work experience in a customer service position.
Combination of training and directly related experience will be considered.
