The Summer Day Camp Senior Counselor will assist the camp director by enforcing camp rules, monitoring campers for safety, and participating in all daily activities ensuring a successful camp experience.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
This position is ideal for college students or older adults who have had some experience working with children, or have a strong desire to work with children. Prefer to have previous summer day camp experience.
The Day Camp Senior Counselor must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form.

The Day Camp Senior Counselor is required to participate in all physical activities including, but not limited to, outdoor recreation, walking long distances, outdoor games, and indoor group games. The employee frequently is required to walk, reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision.
